One special type of inverters are power systems for asynchronous motors - FAT. The inverters are characterized by frequency regulation of the motor speed.

The drive is also activated using frequency. Systems can be operated with a local or remote control, as well as in the feedback loop by adjusting the parameters of the engine (pump) to the operating conditions applied (pressure, flow). Adjustment of the engine speed is a major source of energy savings in many pumping systems. The FAT inverters are among the few on the market which can operate on battery voltage or the DC Power Supply, which is used to build reliable and uninterruptible power systems for asynchronous motors.

FAT M are drive inverters made in the form of a 19" module . They are suitable for installation in 19" industrial cabinets. Inverters operate in an on-line system. Capacity of systems up to 15kW. They are dedicated to operate in facilities that require high reliability of power to asynchronous motors. Because the FAT M modules can be powered with DC voltage from DC switching stations, they are used for example in emergency pumps in power plants and heating plants.

The compact standing drive inverter (CS) is fitted with a base secured to the subfloor. Despite its small size and simple structure, the system is characterized by full functionality. Inverters operate in an on-line system. Capacity of systems up to 5kW. Because the FAT systems can be powered with DC voltage from DC switching stations, they are used for example in emergency pumps in power plants and heating plants. They can be fitted with repair bypass and a SAN 7 Automatic Surveillance System.

Rack-mounted inverters (FAT MS type) are dedicated to operate in facilities that require high reliability of power for asynchronous motors. Because the FAT systems can be powered with DC voltage from DC switching stations, they are used for example in emergency pumps in power plants and heating plants. They can be constructed from modules or, for higher power, as a free installation in a rack. The systems operate in the primary on-line configuration. Capacity of systems up to 100kW. They can be fitted with repair bypass and a SAN 7 Automatic Surveillance System.
